Top Sail beach is beautiful, clean, friendly. We stayed in a ‘dated’ house but the location and accessibility were great! Within walking distance to shops and restaurants (about 1 mile). Being on the south side of the island meant fewer people, more privacy.

The house is good for a week. One of the bedrooms has to be accessed through one of 2 other bedrooms. There are no overhead lights in any of the rooms except the kitchen. No light on the screened in porch off the kitchen. It was a bit warm upstairs when sleeping to keep the air on 74. We had 10 people and never ran out of hot water for showers, which was nice. We didn't worry about having a spot on the beach as there was plenty of beach and not a whole lot of people.
