Anyone would be fortunate to call this condo home for a vacation. We would like to report that the shade at the door of the master bedroom was ripped prior to our occupancy. In the living room, on the sofa, closest to the steps, the right side arm and back has been broken prior to our occupancy like someone had sat on the arm and dislocated it. We sat in it anyway but were in a slumped position. We were extremely comfortable throughout the home. We appreciated the service call concerning the programming TV sets and especially the TV in the living room where previous renters unplugged all connections to the cable/satellite. Deck furniture with comfy cushions was a bonus. We will return!! Thank you. Wayne and Cindy

Check in was great. Received a text while in route that the unit was ready. Thinking it was going to be a trouble free vacation, proved wrong. On Monday, maintenance came by saying the previous occupants reported water was coming from the ceiling & was using a bucket to catch the water. This led us from not using the washer during the stay for fear of the same thing happening. Sheets that were delivered for the king bed, did not fit, which meant a call to have new ones delivered. Third day, the door knob came off & our attempts to put it back in place failed, leading to another maintenance call. The biggest complaint was finding black mold on the ceiling adjacent to the downstairs bedroom/bathroom. Maintenance came & found the ceiling was wet in 3 different locations & sprayed Kilz to cover each location. My husband spent 2 days inside for maintenance issues, which was not what our vacation was supposed to be about. I feel we are justified in a portion of the amount paid to be refunded by the owner, as it is a unit that we would not suggest to friends for future travel plans. This is our 3rd condo that we have rented at Ocean Dunes, and is by far, the one with the most issues that we have experienced.

Only downfall is it needs to have more towels and washcloths to keep on premises, and chairs that you can use to sit out on the beach
