Wonderful home with great views!

If you stay here, be aware that you may be watched while showering.

Look and layout was exactly what we needed, decor was perfect, location was great and away from the business of surf city traffic, beach was huge and mostly clean. We did go out every night and pick up trash left by beach goers.

The house is overall great. The location right on the beach front is absolutely spectacular with an excellent view from the two balconies. The check in process is a little old fashioned having to stop by management office to get a key. Pay attention to what is included because you have to bring beach towels, bathroom shampoo, soap, conditioner and additional kitchen appliances if you need them (we brought a blender). The rooms/beds are large enough for couples but the bathrooms can feel a little bit tight in space but not a big concern. It is about a 5 minute drive from a local great taco spot and about 10 minutes from the nearest largest grocery store. My one qualm with the rental agency was I left pumped breast milk for a small baby at the property which was really unfortunate and when I called to inquire if anyone had found it the woman just replied coldly “I’m sure it was thrown away” without actually looking definitely into it further until I prompted. The property was nice large and what you would need for a family stay on the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

The lock on the door didn't work the entire time we were there and there was no keurig as depicted in the listing. I had to reach out 3 more times about the lock being fixed before they finally made us come pick up a key, which we then had to go out of our way to return on the way home. There was also beach restoration going on that we were not notified about and were woken up each day between 6:00 am and 7:30 am to the sound of heavy equipment dump trucks, bulldozing, and reverse signal beeping.......which lasted until 5:00 pm each day. When I mentioned to the rental office that this was not how we planned to spend our 30th wedding anniversary family vacation, I got a curt response that they had no prior notification of the restoration.....and not even an acknowledgement of our celebration or impact on our vacation by the disruption. I call that very poor customer service. I gave them a 5 because on the front end they were very courteous in getting us booked, but on the back end didn't want to deal with any issues we had once we got there. I never mentioned the missing Keurig but was not happy when I saw a different coffee maker since I brought a ton of k-cups with me. :(
