Great location ! Perfect for a laid back beach vacation

It is a nice house but could have been cleaner. The counters were very sandy, there was hair all over the upstairs, showers still had sand in them and dirty upon check in. The washer sounded like it was going to come through the floor every time it did the spin cycle. We had issues with the key pad for entry as well. Sometimes would work sometimes it wouldn’t.

The communication was lacking, we weren't able to use the pool. No updates were provided on it unless we asked. We were asked to give time out of our vacation to accommodate Spectrum for wifi, and when I asked if it could wait until we left It was brought up that the next guest wouldn't have wifi. I shouldn't have to sacrifice my time on vacation for your next guests. That's absurd. When I then said we could do an early morning appointment I was told they were currently at the house handling it.

Great location, huge sun deck with plenty of sturdy furniture- loved dining outside! Shower for rinsing off and a hose for feet on the deck too. Exactly as pictured- Carolina Retreats is very professional and easy to work with. The king mattress was a bit worn on one side and one of the mattresses in the upstairs double room was as well. This didn’t impact our stay but wanted to mention it. Loved the minimalist decor, only useful things, no clutter and full kitchen. Topsail is gorgeous and we had so much fun at this gem of a rental!
