  • Arrival window within 15 to 30 days, a partial refund of 50% will be provided.
  • Arrival window is within 31 days or more, all advanced payments will be refunded.

Booking and check-in were both great! Location was really good, and accommodations were fine. The home has quite a bit of wear and tear that could be addressed - but overall we enjoyed our stay. Really thankful for Carolina Retreats’ help in booking and being so understanding with our requests. Super responsive. We would definitely use them again!

The property was just what we hoped to find, with all amenities we needed and perfect location on the island. The managers were very responsive to our concerns. The only problems were some water that had come in over the sliding door threshold in the primary bedroom during the tropical storm, soaking the carpet. Management responded immediately with a fan to dry it until our departure. The other issue was that the shower curtains were very moldy and need to be replaced. Overall a very good property and management team.

The people I spoke with or worked with at Carolina Retreats were always very nice and kind and seemed understanding about our issue with the AC. But what happened to us with the AC was unacceptable! We should have never had to go through what we did which took my time to try and figure things out taking time from my family vacation which is hard to come by. There was obviously a major issue with the AC based on the guest who left a review before us and what we came in to. I kept being told the owner was stating the AC was fixed but with us coming in to 3 floor AC units and a window AC unit it was obvious they knew there was a major problem. Plus my understanding from the AC repair man it was a known issue for a month or so. I found out they put the people that were to come in after us somewhere else in order to fix the problem. I was so extremely disappointed in everyone. This is unacceptable and I have requested to be compensated for whet we went through. I will try to submit another review once management has taken care of my request.
